Walking – Run/Walk – Running

She Moves is a 10 week self paced program for women of differing abilities with the shared goal of bettering ourselves through movement.  This is a gradual build clinic and includes a She Moves Training Team T-shirt and Registration in the Goal Event.  There are 3 options so please read carefully and choose the one that’s right for you.  

BEGINNER 5K:  This option is for the Ladies who are just beginning to walk for fitness and/or the person who knows they only want to complete the distance and includes the 10 Week Clinic, Training Team T-shirt and a Calabash Turkey Trot 5K Registration

FASTER 5K:  This option is for someone who has been waking and/or running for a little while and has completed or could complete a 5K but would like to improve your overall time and fitness.  This options includes 10 Weekly Clinics, Training Team T-shirt and a Calabash Turkey Trot 5K Registration.

FURTHER 10K:  This options if for someone who has completed a 5K with some ease and would like to increase their overall fitness and distance. This option includes 10 Weekly Clinics, a Training Team T-shirt and a Calabash Turkey Trot 10K Registration.

WHEN:

Monday evenings beginning September 11, 2023.  Workshops meet from 5:30pm to 6:45pm rain or shine!

WHO:

ALL women age 16 and over of all abilities. No experience required!  Bring your daughters, mothers, neighbors, co-workers, friends or come solo.  We look forward to meeting you!

*No Pets and Always consult your doctor before beginning any exercise program.

FORMAT: 

Weekly workshops include a Focus Topic, Group Warm-Up, Self-Paced Workout, Group Cool Down & Celebration Blitz. Come dressed for activity & bring a bottle of water.

GOAL:

Our Goal event is the Calabash Turkey Trot, November 23, 2023. (Included in registration)

Area walking and running enthusiasts who will be here to guide and support your walking and/or running journey.
