We’re excited to host the biggest and best Wilmington Half Marathon in North Carolina! Every year on the first Saturday in December, we host the Wilmington Historic Half Marathon & 5K in downtown Wilmington NC.

The Wilmington Half Marathon starts and finishes downtown at the new Riverfront Park in Wilmington NC. This is a runner’s favorite course because we take you through a beautiful scenic course downtown, tackle 3 bridges in the first 5 miles, take you all the way around Greenfield lake without having a turnaround and finish down the nation’s top-rated Riverwalk! A truly spectacular course the runners rave about!

Coastal Race Productions is known for way more than just a Wilmington Half Marathon! We donate and fundraise for 20+ non-profits in the area, we support local scholarship funds with both the Grand Strand Running Club and Wilmington Road Runners and we have our own Non-profit. We host a local women’s only beginner walking/running workshop called First Strides and we also started a new program called Miles For Meals where we collect food for underserved children and families in our local community.
