Thank you for registering for Run Ocean Isle Beach on October 28th, 2023. Please read below for information regarding your registration.
While we work really hard to reply to all emails the weeks leading up to an event are quite busy and incase we can’t get right back to you we want to make sure you have all of the important information to manage your own registration. While we offer many flexible registration options throughout the year, options have expiration dates so we will highlight options that are currently available and how to manage them.
PRE-RACE EMAILS:
You will receive 4 Pre-Race emails beginning 10 Days prior to the event. This will include information regarding Packet Pick-Up, Race Day Parking and Schedule plus so much more. Please be sure to read them thoroughly.
VIRTUAL OPTION:
If something has come up and you are no longer able to attend the race you can transfer to the Virtual Option no later than Friday, October 27th. It is considered an “Event Transfer” and you manage the change through your own personal RunSignUp account. There is a $15 fee and that covers the shipping and handling. You may not pick it up in person or have a friend pick up a virtual packet for you so if you want your race packet it’s super important to get transferred. Need help figuring out? EVENT CHANGES:
If you would like to run a different distance at the Run Ocean Isle Beach than you originally registered for this is also considered an “Event Transfer” and can be managed through your personal RunSignUp account as long as the distance you are switching to isn’t sold out. BIB EXCHANGE/TRANSFER:
You can transfer your bib to another person prior to the race. You can initiate the change or transfer by logging in to your personal RunSignUp account select the appropriate option and place in the persons name and email. The recipient will receive an email to accept the bib and pay the $15 transfer fee. If you need more help managing this change please CLICK HERE for instructions.
RUNNER INSURANCE:
If you purchased the insurance and are no longer able to attend the race that insurance is through a third party. CLICK HERE for more information on how to file a claim.
BANDIT RUNNING:
This is unacceptable under any circumstances and NO ONE is allowed on course without a registered bib. If you knowingly are associated with anyone choosing to run on course whether it is a friend, family or your child please know it is stealing and they will be charged and banned from any future events and you are at risk for this too.
