Thank you so much for joining us at the 2024 North Myrtle Beach ShamRock N’ Run on March 23rd for Half Marathon, 10K & 5K! This post includes all of your pre-race information so PLEASE read through it carefully. But, if you have any questions or need more information about the race, please use these quick links and resources:

This will be hosted on Friday March 22nd from 2pm – 7pm at the J. Bryan Floyd Community Center. The address is: 1030 Possum Trot Rd. North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582. We will have some of our sponsors there and you will be picking up your bib and shirt for the event. CLICK HERE FOR DIRECTIONS TO PACKET PICKUP
* Attending Packet Pickup is REQUIRED! If you absolutely cannot make it to packet pickup and no one else is able to pickup your bib for you, we will have an “Emergency Only” pickup on race morning near the start line. If you need to utilize race day pickup, please arrive extra early Saturday morning.

We host a food drive to help the food insecure families in our community. Last race we collected 532 pounds of food – let’s try to beat that! They are asking specifically for canned soup at this race. If you could bring some cans of soup to the packet pickup, they will have a table and would greatly appreciate any donations of non-perishable foods you could bring.

Some additional Frequently Asked Questions & Tips:
  • No Late Starts: We do not allow late starts at this event due to traffic being opened up and course logistics.
  • Corral Etiquette: Do your best to line up in the corral based on your pace.  Pacers will be lined up in the corral 10 minutes prior to the start to help you with this.
  • Pace Groups: Pacers in the Half Marathon are here to help you achieve your goals. They can comfortably run at their pace so find them before your race, introduce yourself if you’d like to run with them!
  • Elite Heat: No need to email us.  If you run a sub 1:25 half marathon or a sub 20 min 5K – we’re going to be making announcements 15 minutes prior to the start of the race calling for elites to make their way into the start corral. Please go to the front for our gun start. *Overall awards are done by gun time!
